HCEA has been asked by several teachers to restate the proposed contract changes for clarification before voting on ratification.

These are the items in the 2008-2011 contract:

* Future assistant principals at both high schools will receive a 15% supplement.

- Current assistant principals will be grandfathered at 21%

* The position of Vocational Director has been made a system wide position and no longer should be reflected on page 3, Base Compensation Guides for Administrators.

* East Hickman High School will be added to the current Extra Curricular Activity Supplements, page 5, along with Hickman County High School.

* List both middle schools and high schools together on the supplements schedules.

* Address teachers who serve at two locations under supplement schedule. If a teacher serves in a supplement position at two locations, they will receive the supplement for each location.

* Local Target Percentage of Insurance to be funded during the contract period is 08-09 = 49%, 09-10 =50%, and 10-11= 51%.

* Establish a Retiree Health Insurance payment schedule that will begin 1 June 2009.

* Create assistant basketball coaching position at the middle schools at 3%

* Create assistant golf coaching position at the middle schools at 1 ½%.

* Create a Differentiated Pay Plan to address Specific Critical Academic Need Areas.
